Twentieth Hour

The mistakes you make, you’ll makes them again, make them better time after time. Then maybe in a million nights we’ll catch a highway thru this hell and remember things not as they were but how they changed.

It's all a matter of rust and shine, to serve a distinction between to have and to have not.

  1. I finally stopped making that same ole mistake only because it hurt so much getting over it each time. Now I gaze at it and smile thinking nope I’ve been this way before I prefer the high road 😬

  2. We are creatures of habit, our default settings often are such that the same mistake is made again and again. Until we have carved whole neural highways ensuring the same path over and over and over….

  3. My best friend, Intuition usually just nudges me and says HEY! She’s got a pretty good track record but sometimes I nudge her back and those are usually regrettable times. πŸ€”

      1. What? No, of course not! You were saying that intuition is a reliable friend that I can call upon. And I said I will when ‘need, knocks on my door an i ought to use it. I hope you didn’t worry.

  4. There have been so many times when a mistake enhanced my life. There have been countless times when a mistake dropped me into the wild, and showed me what I was made of – showed me myself. There have been a few times when mistakes filled me with regret. Then, there have been mistakes, you know… those mistakes that probably, or mostly weren’t good for me, but were a good time in the moment… The kind that even now, years later – my lips are curling into a cheshire cat kind of smile as I’m writing.
